Der Kopf stellt eines der qualitätsvollsten Stücke dar, das während der Ausgrabungen des Berlin Idalion Projects auf der Ostakropolis gefunden wurde. Er ist vollständig rundplastisch ausgearbeitet und leicht unterlebensgroß.
Der hintere Teil des Kopfes ist durch einen Schleier bedeckt, der auf die Schultern herabfällt. Das in der Mitte gescheitelte Haar ist in mehreren Reihen aus feinen Strähnen nach hinten gekämmt. Auf dem Kopf liegt ein dünner Reif oder Diadem, das Haar ist auf dem Kopf zusammengeknotet. An den Enden des Diadems, oben auf der Stirn hängen kleine Anhänger.
Das Gesicht ist bis auf die Nase und kleinere Beschädigungen gut erhalten. Die Augen sind groß und von plastischen Lidern gerahmt, der gerade gestellte Mund verleiht dem Kopf einen ernsten Ausdruck. Die Statue trug Ohrringe und eine dünne, bandförmige Halskette. Eventuell gehört ein in der Nähe gefundenes Fragment einer Halskette mit Heraklesknoten an der Vorderseite ebenfalls zu dieser Statue.
English version:
The head is one of the pieces of the highest quality found during the excavations of the Berlin Idalion Project on the Eastern Acropolis. It is sculpted all around and slightly smaller than life-size.
The back of the head is covered by a veil that falls down onto the shoulders. The hair, parted in the middle, is combed back in several rows of fine strands. A thin circlet or diadem lies on the head and the hair is tied together on the head. Small pendants hang from the ends of the tiara and down the forehead.
The face is well preserved except for the nose and some minor damage. The eyes are large and framed by sculpted eyelids, and the straight mouth gives the head a serious expression. The statue wore earrings and a thin, ribbon-shaped necklace. A fragment of a necklace with a Heracles knot on the front, found nearby, may also belong to this statue.

H κεφαλή συγκαταλέγεται μεταξύ των υψηλότερης ποιότητας ευρημάτων που ανακαλύφθηκαν κατά τη διάρκεια των ανασκαφών του Berlin Idalion Project στην Ανατολική Ακρόπολη του Ιδαλίου. Είναι πλήρως σμιλεμένη σε σφαιρικό σχήμα και ελαφρώς μικρότερη του φυσικού μεγέθους.
Το πίσω τμήμα της κεφαλής καλύπτεται από πέπλο, το οποίο εκτείνεται έως τους ώμους. Τα μαλλιά, χωρισμένα στη μέση, αποδίδονται χτενισμένα προς τα πίσω σε διαδοχικές σειρές λεπτών τουφών. Ένα λεπτό στεφάνι ή διάδημα βρίσκεται πάνω στα μαλλιά, δεμένο γύρω από την κεφαλή. Μικρά κρεμαστά κοσμήματα κρέμονται, παραλληλα, από τα άκρα του διαδήματος και πάνω στο μέτωπο της μορφής.
Το πρόσωπο διατηρείται σε πολύ καλή κατάσταση, με εξαίρεση τη μύτη και μικρές φθορές. Τα μάτια είναι μεγάλα, πλαισιωμένα από ανάγλυφα βλέφαρα, ενώ το ευθύ στόμα προσδίδει στη μορφή μια σοβαρή και συγκρατημένη έκφραση. Η μορφή έφερε ενώτια και ένα λεπτό περιδέραιο σε μορφή ταινίας. Ένα θραύσμα περιδέραιου με τον λεγόμενο κόμπο του Ηρακλή στο μπροστινό του μέρος, που βρέθηκε πλησίον, ενδέχεται να ανήκει στο ίδιο άγαλμα.
